My work must haves

Here's a list of office equipment, apps, courses, tools, inspirational podcasts and products that not only help me get though the day but also help me to maintain healthy habits and a work/life balance.​​

Podcasts and YouTube channels

  • Diary of a CEO (DOAC) by Steven Bartlett - this is probably the Podcast that I listen to the most consistently. Steven is a brilliant interviewer and I love the diverse guests. That's me above meeting Steven at his recent speaking tour. 

  • Bryan Johnson - even if you are not particularly into longevity, I do find he has some really useful tips around routines and lifestyle modifications.

  • The Boss Babe - lots of useful tips for female entrepreneurs.

  • How to Fail with Elizabeth Day - very inspiring and I like that message that failure is an important part of life.

  • I Will Teach You To Be Rich Ramit Sethi - everyone benefits from financial advice and in this podcast remit helps people to live their rich life - by that he means living the life that people want.

Work/travel accessories

  • Laptop bag - Nobo - I love this bag as it looks elegant but there is plenty of room for cables, purse and other things needed either for travelling to the office or onsite.

Downtime/relaxation

  • Pulsetto vagus nerve stimulator - I use this to relax it also helps with sleep and stress

  • Hoka Clifton 9 - this is my favourite brand of sneakers/trainers for my creative walks they have a wide toe box so plenty of space for feet to breathe and also expand in the heat.  

Useful Apps

  • Snipd - this app allows me to listen to Podcasts and create notes from the interesting things that I hear.

  • Listening app - this turns any PDF document into audio using pretty convincing AI.
